Please use this thread for reporting bugs and any other issues you have with the installer. This has been a lot of fun to work on so far, and I'm looking forward to getting started on v10 (I really want to do a merge with Tholal's AI ) this summer. I had to pass on most of the exploit fixes, but I did get the trade-route fix (thanks SevenSpirits!) in and I figured out what was going wrong with the free-techs from the Tower of Divination and the Infernal Grimoire.
I did check in most of the minor leader suggestions that BobChillingworth made.
Additionally, Nox Noctis is now counterable! So hopefully it will be slightly less hair-tearingly frustrating to play against.
Have fun and let me know how it goes.

... Question. What the f are the mechanics behind Taunt?
I taunted 5-6 units, but the Defensive Strikes came out like 12-15 times?
And after taunting, none of the units in my pile are able to attack anymore unless they have Blitz.

No idea, but I can look into it.
It's not a "defensive" fight or an "offensive" fight. It's just a fight. Unless you have blitz you only get one of those/turn.
Perhaps the game just sets the whole stack? That'd be weird.

True.
However, if you offensively fight with your units, and THEN use taunt, they will fight again on the "defense" xD
Its just that, unfortunately, during your turn, defensive battles count as a move.
Interestingly enough, this technicality does not exist on simultaneous turns ... as separate turns to not exist, you can defend indefinitely and then may choose to attack at your leisure. This indirectly makes Taunt more powerful, and it makes Blind and Entangle WAY more powerful than they have any right to be.
For simul turns, blind should either have a %chance to wear off, or be 1 turn instead of 2, as the 2 turns in consec turns only adds up to 1 enemy turn.
Therefore, for a simul turn mod, taunt isn't really strong enough to be changed probably, but Blind and Entangle should have a turn limit of 1 instead of 2, as then its just a race to the button each turn ... rather than permanent immobilization.
Alternatively, you could just give it a chance to wear off, like slow ... which completely changes the spell but AT LEAST its no longer overpowered. And as I've found out, Blind is not really overpowered in consec turns ... it just gives you twice as many turns to take out the enemy, rather than infinite turns to do so. I mean, in consec turns blind only gives you 1 turn of enemy immobility, and I've figured out why.
Its because the immobilization is counted during YOUR turn. meaning that they are immobilized in your turn (when you cast the spell) and also during your next turn. After your second turn however, it wears off. Which means that it only ever effects the enemy in between those 2 turns of yours, which is their turn, and all other opponent's turns (for that 1 span of turns). In simul however, this does not happen, so instead you are just doubling the effectiveness of the spell. In practice, it is only ever supposed to immobilize the enemy for 1 actual turn (in the enemy's perception). This is because, during your turn (in consec turns) ALL enemies are immobilized anyways, so the 2 turns is just a placeholder for the 1 actual turn of immobility.
This is why Blind and Entangle need have an alternative (perhaps as a modmod, or modular mod) which is intended for simul games only.

hrm. It didn't crash for me. I'll do a debug when I get back home later tonight. When does it crash? When you end turn or at the start of your next turn?

The second i clicked "build Noc Noctis".
Several things: I was Mahala of the Doviello, and had around 120 Battlemasters + 100 other assorted units in my territory. I just found Esus, and had a GM waiting to build the shrine. It was turn 140+ i think.
