Can someone remind me why we can't update the main Realms Beyond pages (anything other than the forums) anymore?
More people have been to Berlin than I have.

We can. Which items do you have in mind that should be updated on the RB main?

We have this server access issue for a while, fixed and then (still trying to track down) someone would go change things around. Netdigix is looking to switch us to a more secured server, and hopefully get all the forum problems solved at the same time. Then the other admins will have higher level access to do what they want.

The Civilization 4 Epics/Adventures section. I can remember being very confused as to why there weren't any more since the last forever before and why there weren't results for the newer ones until I realized I should be looking on the forums.

Oh hey did the google hack ever get fixed? I haven't tried accessing RB via a google search for like a year now out of mortal terror.

I realize that I have bothered KoP about this many times now, but can fixing RB so that it doesn't infect visitors with spyware please be the #1 priority for whoever has the admin power to affect such changes? I am honestly astounded and appalled that such a serious issue has not yet been dealt with, a year since I first brought it up.



There were also a lot of other fixes and improvements people mentioned RB needed, which it could still use- new similies, updated forum software, a main page which isn't stuck in 2009. But please KoP or whoever, fix the google hack issue, now.

Seconded. When I'm giving training in malware analysis and botnet mitigation, I always have to tell my trainees how many site admins are unwilling to do something about infections of their sites and how bad this is because that is (at the moment) the main way how malware spreads. Please prove me wrong here! smile

You guys need a website redesign TBH. It is probably a massive pain to have to manually add all the pages like you do right now. Might be good if someone on the forum wants to learn how to make a more modern site.

That's a great idea, but finding the time and money to actually something like that can be difficult, and in any case I think the malware should take priority anyway.
