I assume you mean start Civ IV with a mod?
Right click on the icon and bring up the short-cut tab. This is the string I have in the Target textbox for the icon that brings up Buffy (the CivFanatics HOF mod) "C:\CivIV\Beyond the Sword\Civ4BeyondSword.exe" /mod= BUFFY-3.19.003"
Completed: PBEM 34g (W), 36 , 35 , 5o, 34s, 5p, 42, 48 and PB 9, 18, 27, 57
Current: PB 52. Boudicca of Maya
For some reason this didn't work, I have XP so maybe that's it?
Could someone post the string for RBMod?

It could be because of steam. That's because steam installs deep inside the program files folder, and for some reason the shortcuts can't handle that.
Qgqqqqq Wrote:For some reason this didn't work, I have XP so maybe that's it?The canonical form is Code: "<path to your bts executable>\Civ4BeyondSword.exe /mod=<full mod folder name>" Code: /mod=RB Mod 2.0.1 Easiest way to make those shortcuts is just cloning ( copy-paste to desktop, with new name ) your generic BTS one and add adding suffixes to the target tab. Unless you have Steam of course, Steam still makes everything harder ![]() If you have Steam, find the application in the steamapps ( <path to steam>\steamapps\common\<path to beyond the sword exe>\Civ4BeyondSword.exe ) create a shortcut to that from a right-click menu and then proceed to edit the target box.
