Rules

1. 48 hour days. Nights are 24 hours.
2. Day ends at 1800 UTC. (If forum clock goes mad again, realtime is what will be the deciding factor, otherwise forum clock and everything till 1759 will be fine, 1800 will not count.)
3. In the event of extended forum downtime or downtime that occurs in close proximity of the deadline the day will be extended 24 hours at the GM's discretion
4. During the day each player may cast one vote for someone to be lynched. Players may not vote for "no lynch".
5. Votes must be posted in red text or they will not count. Votes with spelling errors of names do count so long as it's unambiguous in the GM's opinion whom is being voted for. Votes embedded in quotes do not count.
6. The player with most lynch votes at the end of the day is lynched and eliminated from the game.
6.1: Sometimes it might be necessary to vote for a governor. You will be informed at day start if that is the case.
7. Night actions have been pre-assigned a priority order that seems sensible to the GM and will be processed in that order.
8. Anyone failing to vote for 2 consecutive game days will be mod killed and removed from the game with a loss.
9. Dead players may make one posthumous post that doesn't contribute to discussion.
10. Forum profile camping is not allowed.
11. To prevent confusion that may arise in the case of cross posting, posts may not be edited.
12. Breaking rules will result in penalties ranging from warnings to loss of abilities to being mod killed depending on the severity of the infraction.
13. Players may not communicate with other players about the game outside the thread via PM, email, chat, quicktopics etc. unless told otherwise.
14. Players must check their PMs each game day before posting.
15. The town wins when all threats to their faction are eliminated and at least one town aligned player remains alive.
16. Directly quoting role PMs or other communication from the GM isn't allowed.
17. Dont meta the pms. Or the GM. You know I am rather bad at English, so don't try to meta any wording.

Night Result / Reveal Policy

If your action doesn't need to return information you won't receive a PM telling you whether it was successful or not.

If your action returns information but fails for any reason (negative result or interference of other rules) you will just receive a "no result".

Dead players will be revealed with their alignment. No role PMs, no abilities.

The God without name* looked at the playboard. Xaintha had made an interesting move, pushing her
Werewolves into his unprotected town. And he had no troops nearby to push them out. He glimpsed
over to her. An arrogant smile greeted him, soon replaced with loud laughter.

“Are you done thinking?” she asked.
“Haste makes waste, dear Xaintha, haste makes waste.”

The smile faded from her face and an angry look appeared.

“It seems all you make nowadays is waste anyhow.” she murmured.

The God without name looked at her. She looked good still, the years didn’t leave a mark on her. Her
black dress was elegant and combined well with her red, long hair and her green eyes. He sighed. Oh
what would he give if he could just turn back time. Only a little bit, maybe 5000 years or so. Back then
they had loved each other, like no one had ever loved before. But this was long gone and left was a god
that had lost his name and a goddess that only longed for revenge. Did she ever remember what for?
He wasn’t sure about this, he certainly did not remember.

“Oh don’t give me that look, Nameless”, she knew he hated it when she called him like that, “as if you
can’t remember why I hold a grudge.”

He laughed softly. A grudge? That was the understatement of the millennium. For 5000 years she had
jumped on every opportunity to thwart his plans. She had long lost any common sense when it came
to him. The plague in Nocaran? Her doing. Just because he had mentioned thoughtlessly that a young
lady there was worshipping him. A plague of all things. Nocaran lost half his population before he could
intervene and bring them a cure. She would surely had tried to kill him, if it wasn’t for the fact that the
god of all there is cannot be killed.

“Xaintha, my lovely lady, what if I told you I really can’t remember it at all? Would you tell me?”

Her rage filled the room in an instant.

“How could you forget? Are you insulting me?” she screamed.

The god without name sighed again. He never had intended to hurt her. At least as far as he could re-
member. He looked back at the playboard, hoping her anger would fade away. And then he saw it. The
open space that she had forgot to cover. Not in space, but in time.

“Forgive me lady Xaintha. Let’s play on, shall we?”

And with that, he made his move…

Serdoa, one of the Werewolves, died to an intervention of a god.

*yeah, that’s a lame name, but the author of this essay obviously was of the lazy kind

Just fyi: I forgot for EVERYONE to tell them their win condition.

Village: If no threat is left.
Scum: If you control the vote or nothing can prevent it.

If you are unsure about anything, send me a PM please. Terrible sorry about that.

The day starts...

The towns overall sanity is currently at 20.

(Sanity is a mechanic that influences several roles and that will be announced at the start of every new day. What affected it will only be known to the gods though.)

Can we get a list of players? (So I can rank them. tongue)
If you know what I mean.

Thanks, Serdoa. Running one of these is indeed a lot of work, especially with flavour mixed in.

Could you edit a list of who's playing into the first post, so we know who to vote for?
I have to run.

Well it's kind of tricky to crosspost with yourself, no?
I have to run.

That's absurd. What kind of schizophreniac would crosspost with himself?
I have to run.
