This thread is for war discussion and to leave the Intersite Game Thread to focus on more domestic issues. I don't consider myself a heavy participant, but I've seen 3 or 4 people suggest this be made in the past week, so this is my contribution

I like sunrises sim 5... Probably we should start attacking with maces after 15 cats. We might lose some more maces, but that should be less than 5 cats we save. Normally attacking at 44% vs attacking at 30% should not be that different. You will Lose 1st unit and win with 2nd...

We are thinking about staging Knights and non-catapults 2S, 1E of Mano so we can threaten Costalot and reinforce BbB:
Any objections? Only real worry would be if they killed Mano and then hit our stack with catapults when the culture disappears.

They'd have to kill Mano with knights to do this, because if they dump other units next to Mano we get to hit them first. Also, their catapults would have to stage from either 1NE of Costalot or 1E (by building road SE of Gems) where we'll see them in advance and can react by attacking or relocating our stack.
If they road 1SE of Gems they can see our stack with their sentry.

I think NobleHelium decided to stage 1SE of DitchDigger. We still have a turn to adjust. though.

Well, we have spies and cultural dominance in the area, pretty much indicating there is no current threat. If CP does come, we'll have 2-3 turns warning. I believe the plan is to react if a threat appears, whipping and drafting as necessary. But we can't be strong everywhere, so we've got to go with our current best information.

So this is the most appropriate thread for serious discussion on the Rifles, so let's talk about this:
What? 17 rifles? They have already ended turn too (for T169), so this is all they can move in with next turn. This almost makes me wonder if they are planning on waiting for a few turns since that cannot possibly be all they have, but then why put those units there?
