Okay so as you may have guessed from the first posts this game is a lot more about fun than anything, but I am not going to make dumb descisions and still try to win. We are SULEIMAN OF AMERICA, a rather poor combo but since we are starting at 1 AD maybe we'll actually make it to Navy SEALs/Malls? Malls kind of suck either way but Navy SEALs could actually do work with March and 1-2 First Strikes as a solid unit, maybe. Since this is a rather large thing to look at with the AI having done so much and us all having some days to analysze it I will not be doing everything at once. I will however at least show some stuff off. Whosit, would you like me to also send you the save containing our GLORIOUS AMERICAN NATION?

So, to cut out the yelling and star-spangled images for a minute, I'm just going to jot down what we're up against.

Molach -> Napoleon of Inca
Ruff -> Ragnar of Khmer
Commodore -> Brennus of Persia
Hashoosh -> Shaka of France


Molach -> Napoleon of Inca


He's Organized and Charismatic. Starting techs don't matter. Quechua's are obsolete, and Molach is probably luck if the AI even built any Terraces at this point (I'm kidding, they will probably be there). Good UB. Traits are alright, but neither are top tier, and I don't think there's a lot of synergy, but it's not like I know what I'm talking about. At least the higher happy cap will help deal with what nonsense the AI did, and Organized does what organized does.

Ruff -> Ragnar of Khmer


Financial and Aggressive. Financial is good. Financial is great. Aggressive isn't so great, but I'm always a fan of that free Combat I. They'll get Barays and Super Elephants assuming they get Ivory. Barays are nice for the +1 food, but they are Aqueducts. Still, I hear it's nice to be able to build extra food. I guess it's like a more expensive Lighthouse that does less. I'm willing to bet that Fin helps them recover from AI silliness, but they probably won't have as many mature cottages. Maybe. I never play Deity but I just assume the AI is bad no matter what.

Commodore -> Brennus of Persia


Charismatic and Spiritual. UU is obsolete, and wasn't that great anyway. Gets a Grocer that automatically adds +2 health. I like the Apothecary, to be honest. Half the time I build Grocers for the extra health, so making it better at what it does is a plus. Will probably use Spiritual to swap into useful civics during first turn of play. Charismatic gives happy and cheaper promos. Meh. It's Commodore so I trust him to use what he's got in new and interesting ways.

Hashoosh -> Shaka of France

(A bit of a stretch, yes.)

Aggressive and Expansive. Gets Musketeers and doesn't have a UB (haw haw haw). Maybe there's a use for the Salon, but I haven't really heard of it. Might go well with Rep? Shaka's traits are strongest when put to use early in the game, I feel, so... we'll see what he does. Lacks any econ traits to help out at this point in the game.

Ruff might have won the lottery with Fin, but we're all picking up after the AI here so who knows how this is actually going to play out. Brennus probably has, like, 3 religions.
