So I opened up the preliminary save for the first time, did a quick tally and then had to go get some air. The weed is strong in France, apparently. Only one city settled on a resource; copper.
Civics: HR/Barb/Slavery/Decentralization/Paganism
I DON'T HAVE CURRENCY YET. UGHHUGHUGHGUh.
Luxuries: 2 Gold, 3 Ivory, 3 Spices. Dyes unconnected and whales settle-able.
Strat: 2 coppers, 1 iron, 1 horse. Nice. No stone or marble, but I should be able to lease some.
Health: 1 corn, 1 cow, 1 crab, 2 fish, 1 sheep, 2 wheat. 2/3 granary resources, 2/3 harbour, 2/4 mammals.
Wonders: MoM (!!!), Stonehenge, Chichen Itza (

), Great Wall, Mids (!!!)
Yeah, I'm in HR from Mids.
Oh yeah, 6 (Count em) workers. I haven't done a forest count, but I'll bet it's near 40.
Short term strategy is to get my GP in 7 (minimum) turns, GA/GE/2GP/GS are the odds, so 20/20/40/20 respectively. I'll be fine with whatever, GE might make me think about popping the GA right away, everything else is going right into Golden Age for civic swap.
I'll research currency, see where that takes me, shop around my luxuries and copper (I think Commodore didn't have any, I'll check again soon). Philosophy is tantalizing for what I have in mind, which is a Caste/Rep/Pacifism Golden Age civic swap, on the last turn of the hyper-GA I'll decide what I want to do. Strongly leaning towards Serfdom, maybe even a deviation to Police State. WHO KNOWS?!?!
Commodore is my only neighbour, so that sucks. And I've got a massive bullseye on my back with all these wonders.

Looks like I've got the Molach of the Inca to my west, by sea.
