Hey we have a forum!
Arena talk in this topic.
I'm on my first 3 legendary run. Here's the Priest deck:
1 Light of the Naaru, Northshire Cleric, Worgen Infiltrator, Zombie Chow
2 Divine Spirit, Explosive Sheep, Faerie Dragon, Stonesplinter Trogg, Youthful Brewmaster
3 Velen's Chosen x2, Dark Cultist x2, Goblin Sapper, Harvest Golem, Raging Worgen,
4 Lightspawn, Twilight Drake
5 Azure Drake, Frostwolf Warlord, Silver Hand Knight, Sludge Belcher, Stampeding Kodo
6 Boulderfist Ogre, Frost Elemental x2, Illidan Stormrage, Toshley
8 Kel'Thuzad
10 Mind Control
Really solid deck but I'm 2-2 with it so far. First loss against zoo (I have no AoE to deal with that), second loss to a windfuried Power Overwhelming.

Well fuck, that run died at 3 wins. No matter how good a deck and how good a hand and draws, a mage with basic class cards will always win.

That deck isn't a particularly strong draft imo. I don't think mages are the problem as such, it just really needs some of those expensive drops (7x 6+ is a lot) to be spells instead so it can regain tempo. Unlucky.
I got spells on my priest and a lower curve and this went 8-3:
1 - PW: Shield x3, Worgen Infiltrator
2 - SW: Pain, amani berserker, loot hoarder, mad bomber, puddlestomper, shrinkmeister, youthful brewmaster
3 - SW: Death, velen's chosen, illuminator, spider tank, tinkertown tech
4 - shadow madness x2, chillwind yeti, lost tallstrider x2, mecha yeti, spellbreaker
5 - bomb lobber, darkscale healer, venture co merc
6 - holy fire, argent commander, cabal shadowpriest
10 - mind control
I think this would have been a 10+ win deck if I had received 1 holy nova - shadow madness is a lot more situational and two losses came from missing AOE. the third loss was a game that snowballed off the new 2/2 for 2 divine shield paladin minion + argent protector trumping my 3/2s.

I'm interested to see how my current mage deck on NA will do. It's 1-0 so far:
1 - Zombie Chow
2 - Frostbolt, Bloodfen Raptor, Loot Hoarder, Mad Bomber, Chugga Chugga Chugga (x2), Sorc Apprentice
3 - Lil' Exorcist, MCT (x3), Spider Tank
4 - Cone of Cold, Fireball, Dark Iron Dwarf, Goblin Blastmage, Wailing Soul, Water Elemental
5 - Abomination, Silver Hand Knight, Spectral Knight, Stranglethorn Tiger
6 - Blizzard, Boulderfist Ogre
7 - Core Hound, Flamestrike (x2)
9 - Malygos
10 - Deathwing
Too many minions? Too much really big stuff? Not enough fireballs? It'll be interesting to see...

Lol at that deathwing draft, I personally think those two Flamestrikes will be able to carry you.

I think that deck shoudl do well, it should have a good enough curve to make it to turn 7 without falling too far behind

5 wins! After all that. I think I got some pretty bad draws, because the last two losses I didn't have a play before turn 3. Disappointing. Hilariously I rolled Malygos a second time in the next Arena...

Finally got one of those crazy mage drafts you always see, with a frostbolt, 5 fireballs, and 2 flamestrikes.
I never drew a flamestrike. How is that possible? Still went 7-3, but when I drafted I thought I was going for 12.
Edit: maybe it's just not my day. Next draft I went 0-3 with what I thought was a decent warlock deck.

I feel like everyone's evaluation is somewhat off post-GvG. I had a reasonably-looking Paladin deck yesterday, thought it was above average; started 0-2, then got 5 straight wins, but every one felt close. But 5-3 is below my average, I had bigger hopes
Another thing is that the more cards are in the pool, the less focussed the decks are, and the more variance matters. There's a reason almost all draft formats considered the best in Magic are single-set drafts, with the smallest card pool (usually 230ish cards). I hope Blizzard understands it, and will remove some of the cards from arena when the next expansion is released
