I know mobile gaming isn't typically RB's style but does anyone play clash of clans? With how busy my life is these days, it's all I have time for since I can play it on my phone while killing time and when my computer isn't available.

Do you play without paying for upgrades? Is it possible? It probably wouldn't work on my phone anyway, but I'm suspicious of most mobile games demanding cash nowadays.
New Star Soccer is pretty good, but slow going if you don't pay for upgrades.

It is possible to play without paying at all. I have a couple friends at high levels who have never paid a cent. You can't be the elite players without paying but you can have lots of fun.
Personally, I did the math and invested a small amount of cash to buy the few things that would increase the speed of everything, but never pay for the "instant finish" type bonuses. To give Clash credit where it is due, nothing you pay for increases your combat odds. At least not directly. You can pay to make things happen quicker, but actual battles remain completely unaffected by paying or not. Given enough time, you can accomplish anything without money that you can with money. |
