I'm going interrailing for the last 3 weeks of May and my civ could really use a dedicated sub for that period. If you want to help out before/after that period I would be fine with that too. Please let me know if you're interested. Spoiled subs might be necessary given the size of the game, so I wouldn't worry about that too much if you're interested. Obviously unspoiled people would be preferred though.
Some details of the situation below. If you have other questions I can answer them in my thread.

I can probably do this. I'm not massively eager too, though, and I need to check my pitboss connection (which is a bit shoddy), so if someone else is unspoiled or keen to go modern war, they obviously have preference.

Thanks a lot for the offer Q. I guess we just wait and see if anyone more enthusiastic comes along.

My internet is in a weird place atm, so I might not be able to cover. I've the morning off tomorrow, so I'll do some tests.

Yeah, I don't think I can commit to that after all. Sorry, TBS, I think you're going to need someone else

Ok, one last plea for some subs. I can play the current turn, and I'll leave some more instructions in my thread and then I'm gone.
-It's amazing this game has made it so far and it deserves a proper conclusion. I'm sure everyone involved(and especially me) would really appreciate it.
-If you can and want to play just 1 turn, please do so. I guess there's maybe 10 turns while I'm gone and while that's a fair time commitment to play properly, perhaps split between a couple of people it wouldn't be so bad.
-Don't worry about any possible tactical mistakes. It's almost inevitable that I'd screw-up somewhere anyway(I've already done some in fact!) and I'm happy with my game regardless of how it finishes.
-Have some fun when you're playing it!
Thanks for the offer anyway Q.

Ok, my opinion about my Civ skills is at all-time low (and it never was that high to begin with), but if you're fine with me making mistakes in your game, I can do it

10 turns during 3 weeks? For PB18??? 3 weeks is like, 4-5 turns at most...

Just means you're more motivated right? Seriously, I'd be very happy with you taking over and Grimace and HAK said they could take some turns too in the tech thread if you wanted.

If you guys wanted to stall for a bit while I'm away, I wouldn't object.
