Kublai Khan of Inca
bangheadbangheadbanghead
What a creepy joke.
I like this new Kublai Khan (CHA, CRE), he gives some interesting possibilities (eg. cheap library + 2 happy faces), but Inca with a creative leader - terrible combination.
I need some more time to think about it, but I rather reject this choice.

I made my decision. I reject Kublai Khan of Inca.
Please re-roll.

PS I don't want IND and PHI, rest is fine for me, but I would love to have more synergy in my choice.

Can't quite guarantee that for you, but I'll put in a good with with the random number generator.

I know, I know wink. But it was worth a try neenerneener.
At least, there's still one more re-roll left, just in case.

If you're in the bottom half, you have a new combo to pick from there. You can either keep that new combo, or you can choose to reroll again, If you choose to reroll, that third set that you roll will be what you will have for the game, no more rerolling at that point.

Very easy decision for me.

Re-roll.

I really don't want to play PHI, but that's not a main reason.
My opinion could be a biggest problem here. For most of other players I'll be count as an easy target.
Late leader (PHI and ORG don't give much benefits on a start - ORG give a little, but almost nothing) and late nation (very good UU, but late).

This choice would be an invitation for a quick attack. Even superbly defended early rush means end of a game for a good place overall...

Tokugawa of Aztecs

AGR, PRO; Jaguar Warrior, Sacrifice Altar

Hmmm. I can leave with that.

MOD changes:
1) Aggressive: Free C1 promo for melee and gunpowder units. -25% city maintenance [Not shown in trait description. Bonus not shown in interface. Bonus is multiplicative with other maintenance modifiers. Final displayed city maintenance value is correct and includes this bonus.] +100% production of Barracks, Stable, Drydock.
2) Protective: Free City Garrison 1, Drill 1 promo for archery and gunpowder units. +100 production of Granary, Walls.
3) Jaguar Warrior - Swordsman (and all replacements): +50% city attack

Here is the starting BFC sandbox for you to look at and start planning, if you choose to do so. This accurately represents what the starting BFC will look like when you load into the game. The file has any strategic resources stripped out (since you would not know those on turn 0).

We reserve the right to make any changes to the BFC, but this is at least very close to what it will look like in game, so should be dependable for planning purposes.

No screenshot for the thread too because that's just time consuming right now for me to go take a picture of each one too. neenerneener

Go Aztec nation!

Thanks, I'll try my best smile.

Tokugawa of Aztecs.
After making some analysis, I'm really pleased of this choice. This is my first game on this mod, so I must be really careful on changes in comparison with BTS and my nation is really easy to handle.
AGR is really strong. It's interesting trait in normal BTS, especially on tight maps, but here is really powerful thanks to a lower maintenance costs and changes in barracks.
PRO is much weaker, but cheaper granary is really good addition.
Many free promotins from both traits for my units is giving me really good bargaining card in "negotiations" with my neighbours.
Aztecs has very weak UU, but really interesting UB. Cheaper courthouses with only 5 turn happiness loss is really fine.
My cities will growth quickly (cheap culture and granary), I won't need to lose priceless hammers (especially in early game) on monuments and my maintenance will be very low (-75% with my UB).
