Someone else building a settler without an escort? A lot of people were living dangerously in this Adventure!
You are extremely lucky you didn't lose a city to the barbs. Sending out not one, but two undefended settlers? This isn't Civ3!
Interesting Oracle mistake. You do have to watch that to make sure you have all the prerequisites!
Odd that you met everyone with galleys. I think most people probably did it by land. The map info said that there were eight civs on two continents, so I knew from that we wouldn't be alone on an island. But maybe your way worked better! (No barbs on the water!)
War with Huayna - I wonder what provoked him. Didn't you refuse a demand from him at one point? Maybe that was it...
Despite that warring early on, you were rolling along by the middle game and even got to Liberalism quite soon. Faster than I did, in fact, although I had more techs at the bottom of the tree.
Wow, Rocketry in 1705? That's certainly very, very early! Of course, it sounds like you were missing most of the rest of the tree aside from that beeline.
Going far down a single path and then trading to backfill other techs proved to be more effective than I thought it would be in this game. Your AIs looked to be pretty strong too and helped you out with some of the techs.
No aluminum! Well, there was some, just not very close to the starting position.
1894 was a very good date for the launch, faster than a lot of other players here. I'm not sure exactly what you did that was so special, since there weren't any screenshots of your empire, but it looks like you managed to trade for a lot of techs and use that to your advantage. Congratulations, not only did you get a Monarch win, you're going to be among the top finishers too!
