So ot4e wanted to play a game, but is too busy to do one alone, plus he liked the discussion and partnership part in the previous, so here we go again.
Despite I am not sure how much time ot4e will have to put in the game, it is fair to be known that he will play with me when deciding on ranking for handicaps. Maybe the lurkers already have opinion on his play from ISDG2012 and RBPB22, but I must say he is extremely strong civver. If anyone wants to know more about him, ask. About myself, I am not worried, as being seen by many over here as controversial persona, I think I am famous enough to not introduce myself and let lurkers decide where to put me on the handicap ladder.
BTW, I've seen this idea for grouping stronger players and giving them harder time with smaller territory, etc, while letting less experienced players have easier time grouped together and being given nicer land at Apolyton and in the game it was used it gave great results, so I think it will result in nice game here too.
Cheers and enjoy your stay.

Hi all here.
Thanks for introduction, 2metra.
I'd choose Boa, if we had to do it without revealing BFC.

Everthing looks like an archipellago map. This gives a few points to Kubilai, but overall I dont think that we have a choice indeed unless we want to give handicap for others.
Charlemange/England:
-poor traits
-useless UB
Kubilai:
-cre becomes worthless in middle range
+++great border expansion for fish and early pressure if the map is close
-phalax must be a bit more useful on naval maps but everyone ever played warlords knows that it is a joke
-I cant find use for odeons, may be if there are several enemies on the small piece of land
Boa:
+best combo for warmongers
+not monarchy dependant
+best UB

Your sim:
http://media.rhizzone.net/civ/pb30.2mnot...wordWBSave
Notes:
1.) Your starting BFC is cut out of the full save as if using a cookie-cutter.
2.) Strategic resources that are hidden from T0 (e.g. copper, iron, etc) are stripped out of this save file.
3.) The map dimensions in the sim are the same as the live game.
4.) Game settings in the sim reflect the game settings for the live game. If a setting is incorrect in the sim, please report it in the tech thread.
5.) The easiest way to change a civ to go into the worldbuilder on T0 and give yourself different starting techs. Changing a leader requires editing the save itself but is actually very simple; please ask if you don't know how to do this.

I do protest. Why we are given new options when we already made our pick?

I guess we have to follow what we are given. That was a reaction test

1.) The first set of picks you were given were random rolls. The second set of picks you were given were based on the lurkers' votes, as a part of a package of your land, your neighbors, and your perceived skill as players. I posted about this in the tech thread like 3 days ago that they would change, please read it.
2.) "Boa sounds nice" means "Boudica of Zulu is our final pick"...? huh?
3.) And are you seriously fucking complaining about the quality of the three choices you were given?????????? what?????
