I picked Mehmed II once I realized this was 2.0.7.4 and Creative doesn't get teh double speed Library which sucks a big one. Cre is my favorite crutch trait but without those cheap Libs it feels underpowered.

Being at the top of the snake it's tough to find a good synergistic combo because you don't know what's gonna be left at the end, so I went with someone that got a crapload of cheap buildings (courthouse, lighthouse, factory, market, harbor, grocer, aqueduct) that'll give me a good shot to pair up with whatever's left. Org is also extremely good.
