Map is as asked for, random, equalised starts, everyone should have a fair chance although significant differences in nature. Some wonder resources available, but not early. Noble tool thinks it is very equal. It is less lush than usual by RB standards. Made by throwing a normal torus, beefing caps and sinking land to make equal. Because BTS toro will be played on Noble. Does have the random improvements. No barbs again.

Standard rules - no GLH, no blockades, no spies, no being a jerk. Probably no war eles unless everyone wants them.

Sorry some balancing things didn't get saved - the final cap will have:

there will be ivory on the tile 2 of the FP, and there will be slightly more rivered tiles, and spices 8 of the FP. The pig will be grassland. My final balancing changes didn't take. Nothing too drastic and shouldn't really effect choices.

I'd like to change my order of civs : I'd like Hati of Byz > Julius of Carthage > Qin of India > Ragnar of Arabia

Oops I forgot to post my screenshot from t25... It was taken right after I settled my city.




So I settled in place, went worker -> warrior (slowed it on the last turn so I could grow to 4) -> settler -> WB, and now will go worker -> settler. Tech wise it was hunting -> AH -> mining -> BW -> fishing -> agri.

I think the second city was a no brainer. The cap gave it its pig, it gets copper horse gems and riverside rice, plus a preplaced mine. Next city is going to be the silver + sheep x (even if it's low on food), then the eastern and western one. The north has slightly better land (less brown more green) but I don't want to settle the fillers too soon.





My demos (on t27). My bpt is 19 at 100%, with -2 gpt. I think I'm doing ok.

Rushing to the phracts?

I'm currently thinking about how much I should rush them. Sacrificing growth and empire building for a game winning army is not my style but with Byzantium it's probably the right choice. I do have half priced libraries, and I'm spiritual so I might want a religion (BTW I realized writing this that I didn't use the free revolt into slavery yet, I'm an idiot but maybe it will throw them off on tracking my tech rate).
