So I'm doing fairly well right now, but I'm spread a bit wide. I've been able to push directly into the center of the map untouched, which feels more like luck than anything else. Also, this map is
not balanced, so everything is a bit weird.
The main issue right now is that Cheater Hater (purple) has suddenly pushed a group up my east side unexpectedly. I knew he was advancing a few units up that way, but he sent way more than I expected. I also lost my dogs on all fronts in the last couple turns, so suddenly I'm hurting for visibility.
Superdeath is starting to push my west flank. Initially I was giving him a lot of trouble, attacking him over here early. He then built 2(!) trebs, which more or less killed my advances as I couldn't hit them without losing several units. I did lose several units to them anyway, 1 of which was totally preventable. The tricky spot I'm in right now is that I believe he's advanced at least one of his trebs into that fog area in the middle. That's not great for me, but if I can get visbility on it, hopefully I can run it down with my knight.
This is the bad spot. He's really invested a lot to deal with this area. I'll likely go for a double build from these barracks next to stem the bleeding and retake that village once he inevitably takes it from me in the next turn or two.
And this is where I'm having the most success right now. I've taken a barracks here that definitely doesn't "belong" to me, and the air base just below it has bounced between purple and neutral control over the last couple turns. I definitely don't think purple has enough to hold it. How much progress I make is partly dependent on how many resources I have to divert to hold the other two fronts. I've already swung some units back to the west to handle gray, and my income is going to have to be seriously dedicated to my collapsing east side.
Overall, I'm in a decent spot, but I suspect red is in a terrible spot given that I haven't seen him once all game, so if he dies soon, I'll lose out on the spoils of that.
