Let us hope for a good game. Esp MoM has a lot of bad successors (like 'Worlds of Magic'/'Planar Conquest')...

Guess this explains the atari activities I posted about in this forum recently.. reacquired MoM so they could sell it for $$$. Finally a real sequel just might be happening.. and hopefully something better than the unfinished fan remake!

If it was just another huge publisher that neither knows nor cares what strategy gamers want, it would be no improvement at all. While they're not really well known for 4X games (at least not that I know of), at least they're familiar with strategy games in general. We'll just have to wait and see what they want to do with the IP. I'm cautiously optimistic. |
