"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. [Image: noidea.gif] In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Need to think of a city name theme. I had one that was probably in poor taste, so ill take a better suggestion.

Checking in.

We have a horrible dry start, but hopefully not too many neighbours and some juicy backlines - we're guessing we're at the bottom of South America.

A player per city huh. That might be a decent backup.

Now that I think of it, I'm very curious what that poor taste city name theme is?

Being that we are playing Churchill, and playing against mostly German players it was possibly going to be a Nazi Germany naming scheme. But as i was already hesitant, Old Harry nudged me away from that with " Best not to offend people who might declare a forever-war and ruin our game because of it smile

Good decision on the city theme. Germans take the remembrance of the crimes committed during that time quite serious. It's for a reason that some symbols, words and terms are either explicitly or implicitly forbidden in Germany.

Yeah thats what i figured as well. Ok to talk/use the battles that they won during that war? Or is the whole topic a no-no out of curiosity.

I would say even naming cities after battles from 39-45 is a no-no. Thougb you could use famous Germanic generals during 30 years war as a scheme, there's plenty.
