Bishops are monks that serve in places of worship. They fight for their cause and religion. They are similar to paladins.
Armor
Any armor up to and including chain mail.
Shields
No shields.
Weapons
Pre-Arch Bishop, Staff or feet.
Weapons besides staves used when Arch Bishop is achieved.
Enchantment Bans
Jagged, Heavy, Brutal, Massive, Ruthless, Merciless, Kings, Knights, Lords, Masters, Obsidian, Sharp, Dark, Night, Gore, Maiming, Carnage, Slaying, Slaughter.
Uniques
These uniques may be used after he has achieved the cleric title.
Rainbow Cloak, Sparking Mail, Arkaines Valor, Dreamflange, Holy Defender, The Protecter, The Defender, Lightsabre, The Grandfather, Shirotachi, Blitzen, Ring of Engagement
Bone Spirit, Blood Star, Golem, Phasing, and Elemental may not be used.

1) Purifing
This is performed every 5th level. The bishop must remove all armor and rings and only equip his staff (or use feet) and Holy Bolt spell. He must trek levels 1-16. He is allowed one town trip per 4 levels, using only the stairs up. He may go back up level one stairs, level 5 stairs, level 9 stairs, and level 13 stairs ONE TIME each.
He gets as far as he can, killing ALL undead and especially the bosses. He must do it on the highest difficulty possible. If he succeeds in purifying himself, he is no longer required to do this event anymore. If you die, you may use any weapons/spells to retrieve your gear.
