After becoming Matriarch at level 28, I realized I needed to be stealthier if I was to make 3@30, so I hit the church again for some darkness items. During my first run, while chatting with the Butcher, I noticed three other unique monsters in the same general area, and couldn't pass up the chance for a cool screenshot.

That very Butcher dropped my second Blackoak Bow.

On my fourth post-Matriarch run, my third Blackoak Bow was dropped in a pack of stone clan demons and acid beasts.

That would be three Blackoak Bows in six sessions. Or a hundred and four sessions, depending on how you look at it. Statistics is a wonderful thing.

Denari became Spellbinder Elite and Amazon Queen before reaching 31st level. The very next Hell run, Lazarus dropped her Royal Circlet. The next run after that, Gorash (who has produced 3 Blackoak Shields and a Dreamflange) dropped a Regal edition of Naj's Light Plate. She has since found Regal versions of the Puzzler (Laz) and Aguinara's Hatchet (Fangskin). Red Vex - Nightscape. Lazarus dropped, ahem, a Queen's Bastard Sword of Haste.

Her luck has changed!

She's now shrine hunting, trying to boost spells for Spellbinder Supreme, and also to improve the durability of her fancy new Amazon bow and her Nightscape - next level (33) she's eligible for a Stealth Hunt.
