Tyrite

Tyr, a powerful figure in Norse mythology, had his hand bitten off by Fenrel, the fierce Wolf enemy. His ardent followers, the Tyrites (TYR), have borne the removal of one of their own forearms, and seek to slay the forces of evil. Like the feline, the dogs of diablo are their bitter enemies, including DeathSpit, Chaoshowler, and Plaguewrath. Tyrites may be any class, but follow these restrictions: Weapons/Shield: only one arm is available, so most axes, staves, bows other than the Needler, and great swords/axes are unavailable to the Tyrite. When he/she has reached a *natural* strength sufficient to wield a two-handed sword, maul, or a broad axe or smaller, these may be wielded with one hand. However the modified dex must be as high as the weapons STR requirement. A shield could be used alone for bashing, but not in combination with another weapon. At higher levels, to wield the heaviest of weapons single handedly (including Great Axe and Sword, Battle Axe), they must have maximum dexterity, and either: natural strength twice the required strength; or modified Dex+Str triple the strength required to wield the weapon. The following unique
items are specifically allowed: Items: No item of the wolf may ever be worn. Otherwise there is no restriction on helms or amulets, but only *one* ring may be worn at any time, since they have but one hand. Spells/Scrolls: any Attitude: Tyrites see themselves as extremely tough characters. To others they may seem S&M like, with a penchant for ruthless, savage and merciless items, but their best defense is a good offense. Some have been called gluttons for punishment, others barbaric. They particularly like to coop with their Norse companions the Valkyries, with fellow wolf hating Felines, fearless Barbarians, executioners, and many others. A high level Tyrite mage likes nothing better than stir an opposing mob into a frenzy and then drop 'six-packs' of monsters in single spell casts, whether through fireball, CL, flamewave, flash or apocalypse. Goal: to slay Diablo on the highest difficulty setting, to max their strength and dex, and to kill as many enemies as possible with a single blow. (In fact, can he or she kill at least once, every type of creature that exists in hell, with but a single blow in Normal difficulty?! Such a mighty foe may be titled 'Merciless Nord')
