Werewolf 7 sign up and rules discussion thread |

With werewolf 6 demonstrating that RB does still have a critical mass of werewolf players (and that I'm still awful at picking out werewolves) I'll go ahead and offer to host the next one. It'll start a week or two from now; I need to finish the PBEM12 map and get caught up on my succession games first. We can use that time to hash out the rules!
I'll of course plan to follow the consensus on desired setup, but I'm leaning toward no seer, at least half the village is plain villager, and most of the power roles being limited versions. A few power roles to promote discussion seem to be important, but I definitely don't want to go overboard like WW5.
In particular what I'm interested in hearing is which roles and rules are fun for both sides. For example, it seems that Seer and anything that acts like a Seer (my last version of bodyguard) seems to dramatically decrease the fun for the wolves, while Baner affects balance, but both sides seem to enjoy guessing and counter-guessing.
After we figure out fun, then we can work on balance. For now, what I want to hear is simply people's signups, and your thoughts on which roles are fun and which aren't. Balance can affect fun, of course, but bear in mind that there are a lot of ways to change the balance on a role after we decide to include it or not.
Current signups (17):
scooter

Jkaen
Meiz
Lewwyn
Mr. Nice Guy
Serdoa

Does anybody know the exact values for the different types of maps, e.g. Small/Medium/Large, both in terms of map dimentions and land mass?
Is there any way to tweak it?
Best,

Since I managed to hijack this thread in spectacular fashion, I thought it'd be wise to create a separate thread for signups for an NFL fantasy league this fall. This should cut down on confusion of both signups running in the same thread.
I can create the league, and I'll likely run it on ESPN, as I've run many leagues on ESPN in the past, so I'm familiar with all the options. Scoring and such will be pretty normal to make it easy on any of those who may be newcomers to fantasy football.
We need 10 players total to do a league (anything less than that makes for a kind of silly format IMO), and we can expand it to 12 if there is sufficient interest, but I'll cap it there. So far, the following have at least expressed interest:
1. scooter
2. Lewwyn
3. Twinkletoes
4. Gaspar
I would *really* like to do a live draft for this kind of thing (it's very fun), but I recognize that it may be near-impossible with the wide variety of timezones we have here.

Heeheehee. Little do they know, it's all a lie! Actually, it's an inland-sea duel-size map with nothing but desert outside of their screen shots.
