Hell yeah, itâs time to kick bubblegum and chew ass as FFHâs resident Mary-Sue / Captain Jack Sparrow [strike]ripoff[/strike] homage , the Prancing Pirate, the Mincing Marauder, Falamar!
Since the sign ups for the last FFH game lasted about 2 mins, thought there may be sufficient interest in another, maybe something a bit different this time like a team game?
Either 2 teams (say a 4v4 dwarves v elves?) or multiple pairs.
any interest?

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a PB Always Peace Builder game. With all the normalish PBs that have gone down, I think it would be fun if we are able to start dipping into variant land. :O
Especially fun would be a no military unit cultural domination game.
I'm interested in starting yet another FFH PBEM. This one has a twist though- we can only choose from among the five leaders who have somehow yet to be selected for any of the FFH PBEM games hosted here. The poor, unwanted souls are as follows:
This will be a fairly small game due to only having 5 leaders on tap. We may also need some sort of novel form for picking who gets what leaders, as some of them are pretty obviously more desirable over others. We could let the mapmaker randomly assign them, or just pick normally- personally I don't have a preference.
This game will also serve a dual-purpose- providing some comparative data for Sareln's Paring Mod. Hopefully after he finishes the mod up enough to run a game with it we can create another using the same group of leaders, to test how they handle in comparison with their vanilla versions. So everyone playing in this PBEM should create a thread, although there's no mandatory number or frequency of updates you have to make or anything like that.
If there's a enough interest and sign-ups are filled, we can move on to discussing the game options.

first post blah blah blah spam and stuff for making sure people don't mouse over and figure out my secret scheme to nuke everyone turn 2
If you're thinking of entering Pitboss 5, another player, under the influence of drugs, secretly an alien, bleed indigo, have grown a dog snout and become omnipotent or dislike Civilization IV, turn back now!
As you will see from my choice, I have chosen the optimal 'peace-loving' strategy so that all my other 'rivals' will love me and give me lots of techs for free.
If they are really nice, Boudica will invite them over to help fluff her garfield, if you know what I mean
The only FFH PBEM I've ever followed was PBEM1, but when the FFH PBEM's were really kicking into gear, I didn't have the time to follow them all. Lately I've noticed a lot of activity in those threads, so I'm thinking of picking one of the games and reading through a thread or two from them.
So my question - for those who've followed/played in most/all of them, where should I start? Is one or two particular games more entertaining than the others? How about threads - has anyone put extra effort into a thread that is worth reading first?
Sorry for starting a whole thread about this, but I was curious but couldn't think of anyone specific to ask, so I figured I'd throw this out there for anyone who's following most of them. Thanks.
