Hey jack, sadly several images of the begining are down but i have been reading the game. And i was really impresed of your first 100 turns. You were tech leading the game with me and i had oracle!

There is one question i ve been wondering. We had more or less a EPs fight that i felt a bit dumb, you even wasted money in that fight. In the 100turn report i see you didnt have vision of Bellarch cities and in Bellarch thread i saw he even had in you, when you had several courthouses and Bellarch didnt.

This has impressed me, since i think the strongest decision of ORG vs FIN is the ability of cheap EPs. Why did you value fighting vs me in EPs better than actually getting vision on your neighbours? I had vision on all my neighbours and then i started to put into you, but i had no trouble with you at all. And actually if you saw my last reports you would see the importance of having vision on your neighbours.

Also, didnt you think about any wonder? I didnt see anything on your thread.

Ah, sorry about some of the images going missing, that's on me using puu.sh for my images, fine as a temporary measure, does lead to them going after a while - should really find somewhere else for images like these instead of using something so ephemeral

Thanks for the first t100 compliments! this part of the game definitely went well, far better than any other part of the game, thats for sure

As for the EP spending war, I honestly do not know what past me was thinking - I was likely thinking along the lines of wanting graphs on everyone to keep track of them, in hindsight that really wasn't all that necessary. You certainly make a whole load of mistakes first time round  

Wonders? what are those? :P I probably didn't write about going for any wonders as honestly I didn't really have any in my sights. In retrospect I could have maybe? gone for something like TGL given my number of Coastal cities (although I got Sailing faaar too late if I wanted to go for that), and I could have gone for some of the wonders towards the top of the tree if I had decided to around the turn 90/100 mark, where I'd pretty much finished expansion and was on the process of fixing the economy with currency et al. However I felt at least obliged to use my Ballista's and thwack BING, as a means of picking up some (relatively) easy territory to counterbalance the strength of bellarch. All this meant there wasn't much space in my thinking of wonderbuilding, especially considering I didn't really have many good production cities (this is a point bellarch made also, and how he so easily won through the initial invasion, as it wasn't just successful, it sniped my production base right out from under my feet).

don't worry! I'll usually be the first to criticize myself (for better or for worse), I was more just trying to explain+reflect on some of my decision making, through the questions you initially posed. For example, the EP spending war is an obvious mistake in retrospect (my whole handling of anything outside of my empires' borders was pretty bad lol), whereas the wonder question is more interesting and far more debatable.

Im sorry abotu this, it was late and my brain didnt work well. I read that "you made mistakes" as "i did mistakes", instead of a "everyone make mistakes" XD.
