I am feeling very SD saying "why is this game still going on" every little bit. I was unaware TBS was in a GA (seriously it didn't show up as starting in log, but I did see it ended this turn), which made me feel worse before, but even out of a GA there is a still the big production problem. The early democracy is looking really good. Its finally good. Emaciation + merc + statue of libery + AP monk buildings = 12 production in each city just base. (oh anghor wat actually looking playable as well giving him a 2nd 4hammer specialist). Nauf giving up his islands for free and putting up a weak defense hasn't helped. Like there was a low % chance even going into this war, but attacking the other continent plus not starting to whip soon enough means this game is very over. TBS is also about to start drafting rifles. I am catching up, but I was just too far behind. I just got gunpowder this turn.

Can someone kindly nudge Xist and at least ask if he has a plan? I haven't had his demos until now AND its not encouraging. The production isn't any better. What did he also lose his first worker rushing?



I'm a little mad Nauf hasn't given me  peace. I would have at some point double played which would have locked me into first half of the turn. And let me be clear I WANTED the first half, but I'm stuck now going second. This gives him an extra turn to get troops back, although with how easily and fast Nauf collapsed maybe its moot. I probably needed at least one more turn of Naufs culture holding. Also, its a extra turn of drafts, which muskets vs rifles you better believe I wanted less rifles to face. Edit: Nauf played an unusual late turn for him so I did get to switch to first. I still decided it wasn't wise to move in vs units a generation ahead.

I have a tech decision this next turn. Banking so I can switch into merc for extra production via free engineers OR just go for cannons so he can't stuff his army up my throat. Its probably just cannons and then I can switch civics this next turn as well.

I voted for TBS for AP Diplo victory; maybe that will send a signal. Although, Xist may not have a Jewish city, forgot to check and I don't  think the usual "everyone has to have it" are in place because all the AP stuff is disabled.

Anyways, I had a chance to move units next to two more forward TBS cities. I choose neither.



There are at least two galleons in range of Celus and there are a lot of missing new cavs. I also suspect1 galleon more galleon (as I believe had had 5 and I can only account for 4). And wile the galleon lower center in the screenshot COULD be empty, even if it just has 1 rifle (which I saw him building) that is probably enough to hold Free Mogao. So I went west to retake WhenWillieDown. We will see if he bothers to upgrade them or not. I did offer peace for the city. Man can dream.

Got there.



Sure he can finish off Nauf and therefore open up more drafting cities and overall incorporate Naufs empire. But was I really going to do more damage than taking this one city anyways? No. I would rather build away waiting on Xist to look at graphs than play long turns fighting.
