I'm all done with this one and really enjoyed it. I have a bit of a problem though and I hope somone can help. I took a rather large ammount of screen shots (erm, 300+ is rather large methinks....). I may not use all the screenies, but if I used even 2/3 of them it would make for a 10+ part report if I posted it here, and I'm not sure if that would be kosher (would it?). I suppose I could post it at N54, though I know how much most of you hate going there, and I'd hate to go to all that work to post a report that no one would read . Does anyone know somewhere I could host this report, or, failing that, would it be ok to just post a bazillion part report here?

You can post a report of any length you like, in as many pieces as you like. We wouldn't want to truncate your storytelling if you have a worthy tale to share! You can follow Urugharakh's report style, if you want to post a bulky report across many sections and not have it get jumbled up.

Hmm. OK. Thats good to know. I've posted 4 part reports here (well, N54 "here") for Civ, but I didn't know about a 15 parter. I'm glueing/condensing some pics now, and a few pics probably just arent really needed and will get tossed. It'll probably be more like 10-12 parts before I get done.
I don't know if it's a "worthy" tale or not. I do know I had a lot of fun playing an "extreme" Darlok game though. The :chef: cooked up an appetizer of h34r: , a healthy protion of , and a little :war: on the side

Gris? Let us know if/when we can green light the IMP7 reports to post here. Since our new home has a new address, as well, we need to keep something at the old one to redirect folks here. We may also need to notify folks in other communities, update links, etc.

Speaking of reports, is the image limit per post still 20 on this board? I prepared my report based arround that. If it's more, no biggie, but if it's LESS I need to know asap.
Edit: Actually, never mind this assuming that reporting will be opened here sometime in the next 48 hours. If it is, I can just adapt/edit as I go.

Sirian,
That would be up to you, and to the players. This forum is not complete, but isn't likely to need to be wiped clean again (yes, again, and don't ask). The old forum's database will *not* be moving over here at this point. So, this is the forum where reports should be posted. The question is, is it working to the degree that players will feel comfortable posting them here?
I had actually been hoping to get this board up during the gap between reports, but installing new forum software and importing a different type of forum's database wasn't a simple process. I could never have done it without the help of Bolty and Digix (RB's webmaster). They're both probably looking forward to having me out of their hair now.
Is it ready? Hard to say. When we're "official" here, I was going to close off the old forum, and put a big, easy to see link to here over there. Then, I can put links on the site, too. Civ and Orion should be easy enough to change because they're based on templates. The Diablo section might be tougher, though, because it's individual pages (and lots of them), so I don't know if we just want to link from the sections or something like that.
I will probably be available to put up the new signs tomorrow if we're ready to say goodbye to the old forum.
Edit- Oh, and the image limit is currently 50, although that might be too high. I want to be able to accomodate smilies and images, and I like to encourage screenshots in posts. I'd say don't put more than 30 in your report, and you won't have to worry if I lower the limit later on.

Well, the story part of the report I decided to write was only half done, and I just lost half the half to a crash.... (sigh) There is no way it will be done in time to post even if reporting started tomorrow. I emailed the Executive Summary to Sirian, so he can post that when reporting starts. I should be able to post the full report, which includes my turn notes, a parrodish story based arround game events (told via "GNN Reports"), and roughly 270 game pics within 7 to 10 days, or sooner if I can work out some way to get net access while I'm on vacation (which I doubit).
I really hope everyone will give it a read, even though it will be late to post.
I'll be looking forward to reading the other reports when I get back from Atlanta.
Thanks for all the hard work you do to keep this place up for us Gris.
