OSG 20 revisit

(I'd post this in a new thread, but I don't seem to be able to create one -- sorry...) I just posted a challenge over on the Civfanatics board for any veterans (or brave not-so-veterans like me) who feel up to giving it a try: The Meklar are cornered, facing a host of Impossible races -- including the Sakkra and the Big Three! -- in the most unlikely game of MoO I think I've ever played.
The thread I created for the purpose, including pictures and the save, is here.

So, any interest in getting a OSG 21 going?

Ordinarily, I would say yes. The one issue is that we're getting quite close to the holiday season, which is usually not a great time to start a new gaming venture. If one of you wants to organize a succession game, feel free to do so, but I'll probably have to sit out this one. I'm going to be doing a lot of traveling in December. smile

I'd love to participate in an OSG if there's an opening for a "weak link" player who learns from the experience while unintentionally making it more challenging for the whole team. I even have a couple ideas for scenarios/varients that might be fun to play. Like Sulla though, I couldn't participate very soon, as I'll be gone for several days at the end of December (and a few more in mid-January too).

I'd be interested in particpating in the next or a future moo1 SG, whenever that might be. It might be difficult to get enough interest over the holiday period but I'm available if one can be arranged and you are happy to accept an SG newbie. I would prefer limited restrictions (other than exploits, of course!) but I would consider any proposal that sounded fun!

I am with Sulla on this one. Lets wait until after the new year to start an OSG (or Imperium). I have a strong suspicion that any game started now would quickly stagnate due to the insanity of the holidays.
