I have been assidously collecting Essences for the caves in Wake Hollow and among several characters have more than enough to complete the quest for the Head of Moloch in Normal mode. It will take a while for me to get there in Nightmare but if we want to go that way I will happily bank the Essences until we are ready.

Wake Hollow itself is huge, the Caves are big and twisted and the Lairs are complex. And there are lots of monsters that need killing. Two person parties can do it, three would be better and four or more would be fun.

I propose we pick a day and a time to set off after Moloch. It will take more than one session to complete I should think but five sessions should get it done handily.

As you all have discovered I am good to go most evenings and Saturday afternoons. (Sundays set aside for KoP's ULGG Elite game).

I would like to see all of the areas of the game, preferably in the company of RB folk.

It seems that the essences drop with sufficient regularity that we can easily pool them to make such expeditions happen.

The trick is allocating enough time for the expeditions, methinks. I have Saturday mornings open most weekends. Other times I have less flexibility, but will try to join the fray if I can.

The issue I have with the new areas (well, Wake Hallow anyway, haven't tried the others) is that the framerate is abysmal. Not quite as bad as the fire areas in the Fawkes day event but pretty close. My framerate regularly drops into the low single digits there with just a couple monsters on screen, which makes managing any kind of a fight there a real pain, even with my engineer, whose firepower is largely server-side based (i.e. bots) and not something I have to aim myself.

For me, this pretty much kills any utility of these new zones. I can't imagine how impossible it would be to control my PC in a multiplayer battle in there. Maybe if they patch it so that I don't have to constantly cope with single digit FPS I would be more interested.

One thing of note is the Essences dropped in Nightmare mode are different from those in Normal mode, it would say Nightmare mode at the bottom of the description and they cannot be combined with the normal ones. So I guess we can't use the Normal mode essences in Nightmare mode Stonehendge.

But I thought SH mobs scale with your level? So what is the point of differentiating the essence dropped in normal and nightmare mode? A question for FSS...
