Two turns, 212 and 213, but I'm going mix and match for this update. First we'll start with a shot of Sphinx where I am attempting to decrease the time for the part. Next turn I'll settle the GE in the city plus workshop over a village and I think I will be able to reduce the turn time by 1.
In worst case scenario this finishes in 6 turns and I launch in 7.
Next we have a look at Cyneheard's current tech:
He is missing 7 techs to be able to build all the spaceship parts.
Here are those 7 techs:
Fission, Medicine, either Computers or Lasers, Ecology, Fiber Optics, Genetics, Fusion.
So at minimum Cyne needs 7 turns to get all the techs. I'm really not sure how fast he'll build the parts, especially the Engines, but I suppose I'll find out. He's building faster apparently and told me on Gchat he was close. Dunno for sure if he'll achieve his goal of launching before my SS lands, but I'm interested to see him try. I'll be honest I haven't really optimized my cities with workers and I'm taking it easy. I've got a lot on my plate.
