And after years of fighting, finally the people of India could be freed...

Thanks for playing Nakor and thanks for showing real sportsmanship. smile

The Indian people have decided that a united front is needed to secure a victory against sis's Barbarians. Therefore they have, not without a fight and great internal struggle, decided to join their faith with Leader Serdoa and aid him in his struggle. We still hope others will join us and fight the evils.

(Time to read the other threads. Thanks for the game!)

Hey guys, I would like to propose to end this game. I've talked recently with Ellimist about it and he seemed to agree that getting hit by Emancipation now is not fun. I'm not really interested to play this out as I think the conclusion can only be either Ellimist winning or me winning, but till we are there many, many pretty uninteresting turns have to be played. With D3, GW2 and WW13 (not to mention Endless Space) there are many other things I can do with my free-time which simply are much more fun.

Now, I am fine to play on if everyone else wants, but I guess Pegasus is nearly gone by now anyway and I imagine seeing your empire getting shreded is not all that fun either. So, what do you guys think, shall we call it? I'm fine with having no winner at all or agreeing to a draw between Ellimist or me or, heck, if it gets me out of this game, we can say that Ellimist won this wink

What do you mean nearly gone?

I'm just lulling Ellimist into a false sense of security shhh lol

It's fine by me it you want to call time. I'm surprised i'm still alive to be honest. I expected to be wiped out a few turns ago and i've been whipping like the sun doesn't shine to at least put up some resistance and not concede without a fight.

Yeah, that's fine. This game has definitely been different than what I'm used to. The freaking AI just built Notre Dame, anyway, and Pegasus would be playing OCC for the next half dozen turns while I grind through the units he has in Bursa.

If there are no objections, I'm fine with ending the game as a draw between Serdoa and myself. We aren't exactly evenly matched right now, but we both have certain advantages over the other and neither of us has any (obvious) fatal disadvantages to be exploited.

I know we haven't updated very much or at all lately, but Serdoa has consolidated his Indian conquests pretty well and used the additional land to pull ahead in GNP. Unfortunately for him, the GNP lead and his PHI trait were much less useful to him due to the complete lack of "first to" bonuses available. So, assuming I could eventually finish off Pegasus, I'd be catching up economically while Serdoa catches up militarily.

Are you sure this shouldn't be a concession to the AI?

Nah, I am certain that we would beat that AI-newb lol

But on a serious note: I think this would have worked as an adventure / epic. But not as a PBEM, especially if you have to find out after your picks that there are not some barbarians but instead an AI with pre-settled size 14+ island cities and GLH. I would have never picked PHI in that case, because obviously what makes the trait great isn't going to work here (being first to certain techs). There were still FIN combinations which would have been much more worthwhile than a gimped PHI.

Anyhow, thanks for playing to Ellimist, Pegasus and Nakor. It was a pleasure to play with you and I'd like to highlight again how great a sportsman Nakor is. Especially in light of PBEM32 I can't express how grateful I am that he always was kind and friendly, even in the heat of our war. smile
