Looks like it has come to war Sian. I'm afraid it was probably inevitable.

I am fine with this: I'm too far behind for a solid chance at any win condition.

Well if that's the consensus, I'm obviously willing to accept . I've very much enjoyed playing with you folks and the game itself :D. I'll try and find some time to actually put some closing thoughts up at some point.

Sian could you possibly forward the save to me one more time. I had one more GA stored up (I was going to use it for massbuilding tanks) and i'd like to see what my MFG looks like in a GA.

Closing Thoughts:
- Mostly well played by all I think. Music, you need to run more than a token defense, and bad luck crashing yourself early game Azza, but other than that props all around.
- I played decently, but was too timid and unsure of myself to expand or war properly, and so kinda just fell behind over time.
- The one black mark was the city gifting when both Music and Azza were going down. After the second round of it I almost just stopped playing the game, I was rather annoyed. No help hard feelings, but let's not let that happen again please.

I definitely agree with the last point. I mainly accepted Azza's gifting because I was still annoyed about previously, but that still wasn't a particularly high moment for me. How about in the future a rule of, city gifting is only allowed as part of a peace treaty? Admittedly, you could still start a phony war, but it makes it less of an easy option for people to just select when they are annoyed.

Yeah, I accepted a city from Music as well so I'm just as guilty, but it was just bad overall. That sounds like a good rule to me.

Well played slowcheetah. You probably made the least mistakes, and deserved to win.
I blew my game with the whole tunnel vision on getting Stonehenge thing I had going on, and not having a plan how to actually make use of it afterwards. Still, it was a fun game before I fell into an unwinnable position.
Brick, you played a fairly solid game, but you probably weren't decisive enough to win. In hindsight, the way you played was probably setting you up to finish just behind the leader(s) unless they got locked into a crippling war.
Musicman seemed to understand the basics, but lacked the experience and knowledge to avoid falling behind. I think he'd definitely have learnt a lot from this game though.
Sian played well, but his game was heavily compromised by not accepting NAPs IMO. It definitely made me paranoid of him, especially after which lead to my eventual attack out of desperation to remain relevant. Apart from that though, a very good game from him.

Also, sorry about the whole city gifting thing. Probably want to have a rule about that in future games, just in case. Better to have an explicit ruling than just looking down on it and hoping no one abuses it, since people won't necessarily agree on what is acceptable behaviour. Especially in a greens game.
