Idea for next imperia?

I have a idea for a potential Imperium 36 disclamer: I do not own MoO and do not know how much of my design can be created. This may not work

The setup is this:
Huge galaxy
2 races (special)
impossible
Are there any other settings?

Races:

Player:
Mrrshans
START WITH ALL TECHS RESEARCHED!! (except the "advanced planatology/weapons/construction/forcefields/computers/propulsion")
Homeworld starts with standard numbers of pop and factories
Standard ships

AI:
Psilons!
STARTS WITH EVERY SYSTEM!! (other than the players home world, orion and empty stars) Note: this will mean a instant council vote. DENY IT AND KEEP PLAYING! I don't think that there is a way around this.
STARTS WITH ALL COLONISATION TECHS! (so that it doesn't ignore hostile planets that it loses)
All planets start with the same percentage of pop and factories as the homeworld does, scaled per planet.
One scout over every world that it owns

I do not know if this is winnable or even possible, someone with more experience should look this over.

Have fun

With all the techs you just build pop everywhere and send it to take over other worlds. hammer

Interesting idea. The difference between the first tech level and the last is huge. I can see two ways to go about it after scrapping the initial colony ship:

1. Design a ship with fast engines, a mid-levelish shield, and full of bombs. Probably a lower level bomb that has been miniaturized to the point where you can carry a lot of them on your ship. Crank out these ships as fast as you can. With any luck, you can glass one planet per turn per ship with total impunity. Go and mop up and hope that they can't tech up fast enough to oppose you.

2. Ground attack. You should be able to take any of their worlds with a minimal number of transports, possibly just 1-3 soldiers per planet. In theory you could invade one planet per turn for every planet you have and your empire would grow exponentially. The problem with this is that you start out with less population than planets in the galaxy, so you won't be able to grow that fast and you'll spread yourself pretty thin as it is. However, you should get a pretty good return on ecology spending and with any luck you will have invaded all their planets before they can mount any kind of defense.

I would think that either strategies (or some combination of them) would be definitely winnable.

I thought this might be winnable, I was mostly looking for the greatest possible difference between the two empires. You have runaway psilons except that you're actually ahead in tech. You have the weakest race and they have the strongest, they have most of the planets and you only have 1.

I was thinking that scoring could be in multiple categories: Largest number of planets owned, smallest number of ai controlled planets, win date, loss date. Not sure how to determine an overall winner.
