If you don't mind my questions, why did you target the MoM so soon but didn't start a GA until the late middle ages ?

And why did you decide to settle so far east ? You seemed mad when we settled Red Star but it was ~5 or 6 tiles from our capital, and you lost similar spots to THH on the other side (which made us mad TBH).

You played a good game overall, it's too bad you didn't wait a few turns to see us backstab THH

I wasn't mad at red star but at the military build up. After reading your thread maybe I shouldn't have cancelled the workers actions clearing the jungle? since you thought i was roading.

oh yeah I was super paranoic about the war chariots. I think I always had just enough to feel safe from the units of yours that I could see. At one point actually I misplayed and you could have razed Perrier, I took it as a sign of friendship that you didn't. I never considered attacking there.

Of course it sucks that we both built up our stacks there while THH was able to claim that super awesome land W of you / E of us for him alone

That wasn't a demand, but rather me asking for a kind gift to a poor man. I was quite health constrained without mainland resources and I thought you could have it spare. At that time I thought of us as allies and was just waiting for a possibility to join you in a THH war.

Regarding that, do you think you could have attacked him instead of Mardoc? Or do you think you better had attacked him with cuirs, when he was still more behind on tech? I thought so at the time but from your perpective of course thinks might have looked quite different. Were you sure that we would join you in a THH attack? That's what I wanted to signal with the repeated map trades (iron for iron, or in my case, copper for copper, was forbidden, sadly)

Cuirs dont have good odds against ckns on hills with even guerilla promos. No way i could move collateral next to his cities because they would get shredded by ckn. Only effective option to attack perrier was 1ting with 2 movers
