Some final thoughts as the game is ending. For the most part I'm pretty happy with how the map turned out, but I have some (minor) niggles:
The one-tile islands were a mistake, especially with a hill they were too easy to defend (even if some did fall)... It would have been better (and more aesthetic) to have them slightly larger, 2-3 tiles.
The ocean-fish did draw some criticism from the players, but I still think it was necessary to balance out creative on this map. I do regret the one visible in the screenshot below though; There are only two spots to grab it, and the best spot might actually be the coastal plainshill that orphans it.
I did expect most of the fighting to me in the jungle hubs, but was surprised at how easy it turned out to be to push inward on the spokes.
