What was your plan with moving the settler north? Is there some spot you think we should settle that we haven't talked about?

I'm much spoiled, but I can also close my eyes and shake the mouse. The other alternative that occurs to me is covering the copper and replanting on top of it once he razes Kissing Coppers.

I think that was the thought. Though FWIW I agree with Krill, the best thing is to let a sub take over.

So should I not play and leave it for someone to take over then? Honestly, my impression is that people are upset at me for holding up the game despite my state. (Mjmd certainly came across as being put out when he reached out to me on Discord.) And before getting sick I was planning on just playing until a replacement was found.

If you think it's better just to leave these decisions to a replacement then I'll hold off.

Update, for what it's worth:

Kissing Coppers was burned.

I went forward with Miguelito's plan to replant on the copper because the plan to settle on the horse was ruined.

That city was burned by the same spear.

Anyway that's why I was trying to get someone - anyone - to just play the turn. Because it did not matter and these results surely prove that out.

With a Woods2 Holkan, I went for the long-shot odds and attacked both my warriors into it. We failed, but got somewhat close, bringing the Holkan down to 1.4 strength. I'm just going to keep 1-turning warriors and doing whatever I feel like with them until the end.

Semi-related, I renamed my city to Stupid Fing Cov because wow this is one of the more bizarre illnesses I've had. Thankfully I've dodged the fever/chills that most people gets, but sore throat, vertigo, and just dead exhaustion are enough. But the bizarre part is how it comes and goes. Friday I was feeling like I had turned the corner; the vertigo and sore throat were very minimal and I had some energy. Yesterday I couldn't do anything all day but sleep and the sore throat came back strong, but the vertigo at least had gone away. And now today the sore throat is gone and I have some energy again, but the vertigo has come back. It's like I'm playing slots with symptoms every day.
