Challenge: strength in numbers

And i have question: can you form the stack of normal units,which can kill at least one creature of the Any enemy stack?without magic,and warlord,and mithril. What race can form such stack?
(Ie,it must kill at least one great wyrm from the stack of 9 great wyrms)

FWIW my vote is griffins. Elite slingers or elite longbowmen might work also.

If we exclude Sky Drakes then stag beetles, warlocks and high men magicians would work too. Dragon turtles and air ships could also do the job.

Hmm,i am about universal stack.say if you have 9 elite longbowmen you will good against sky drakes, but i doubt you kill one of nine wyrm by this stack.(after its first attack).

Depends who is eremy. If I could control single nigth stalker I could force draw.
I guess its impossible. Perhaps some build with nigthmares would work.
Otherwise with wyrms killing ranged units before they can anything and giant spiders webbing fliers you wont have a chance.

Have had a one (or two?) games where i "spammed" dwarven swordsmen and just autocombat'ed myself through 90% of battles, i think i even used valana the bard as a general leading the stacks.

I do remember quickly expanding to the nearest mithril or adamantium ore i could find. So that might very well be a must have to sucseed.

Pro's: 0 gold upkeep, 8 figures pr unit,3(!) hp pr dwarf, engineers and you'll be swimming in gold->mana. Can transition into hammerhands for mid/late game. And the double profit from ores/mines makes settling more fun.

Downsides: Will edit them inn if i remember correctly.

(Disclaimer, i'm not 100% sure i remember the race stats correctly, but i do think i got them right
