IMO though, the turning point in the game was dtay Libbing Astro and then not capitalizing on it. In comparison, my mid-game resources went into Taj and conquering Azza. If you'd taken Chemistry as well and built enough defenses to hold Atlantis, then that would probably be enough to keep up with my Empire, not as much extra land, but cheaper. Even better would have been to harass me with Galleons I think. I was really dreading trying to defend against that, it would have tied up a lot of resources and forced me to change my timetable and get Astro sooner. I know I had the larger power and you were going into your golden age, but there was no way I could reach you on land in those 10t and you would have been able to lock the seas down.
