I never seem to rack up high scores. I can win (sometimes! Extreme difficulty is a nice challenge) but I have never lasted long enough to get the extra points from the Spell of Mastery, for example. I always conquer the world. The 100% rating is based on a score of 8000 points, something I always wondered about. All of these are on Hard difficulty, I imagine those of you who won on Impossible have much higher scores (x3 instead of x2). What is the score modifier for Extreme?

There are nine winning entries. The last one with Nomads was a loss, I've been slowly pushing all the losing scores off the list. There are two Trolls scores in there, including #1. Kind of surprising considering Trolls' growth rate, but maybe not so surprising because they conquered the world. Barbarians and Halflings are #2 and #3, not surprising considering most of the score is population, and they reproduce quickly. Lizardmen and Klackons, yeah! Gotta love the "extra challenge" races. I'm playing another Dark Elves game right now, if I win it will be a rather good score because the game has lasted so long that I have the Spell of Mastery on my spell list.
