So, Mack's ready to win whenever, Auror is nearly dead, Bob has conceded a while ago, but DaveV and Cairo are still willing to fight to the end?
I know it's Mack's game, but if DaveV and Cairo are having fun I'm inclined to let them. It's a PBEM, so it should speed up as people are eliminated, and Mack's definitely smart enough to go for Bob next

I think DaveV has been ready to concede for a while (there is a post to that effect on the current last page, albeit from as long ago as the end of March). Cairo seems happier, but I doesn't seem to be expecting to make much progress against anyone in particular...
Worth waiting a day to see if they post now that Auro's resistance is visibly over, perhaps.

Cairo wants to continue and I can understand that.

I had missed the post from Dave...but also Cairo has a point that decent numbers of Mobius Witches' are one of the few things that might be able to break Mackoti's stack. The other, of course, being if Bob made it to Wizards sometime after his last post.
But also fundamentally: Mack now has the mobility (and always has the ruthlessness) to turn a lead into a quick win, if he's actually ahead. So I think it's likely the game is over in the next 20-30 turns regardless - either Mack can conquer the world, or Bob/Cairo's magical progress lets them conquer.
On an aside: I think it's weird that Cairo is now talking about razing Dave's stuff. As the Sheaim he at least gets a silver lining in his Gates, but if he can break Dave's stack he can conquer Dave, doesn't need to stop at making Dave impotent. Either his instincts are off, or his economy is still in the dumps.

Bob has wizards. I saw them at least like 10 turns ago. I don't think he has very many good manas yet to do any damage to mack, well other than fire.
If Cairo and Bob could work together with magic against mack... well, maybe something could happen. As I think mack doesn't know magic very well. I think Bob is not trying anymore though. Also mack's economy is so good. My capital is worth a lot too.

Called it. Although 20-30 turns was apparently pessimistic

Never play a game with mackoti when Civ is on the line!
It's inconceivable.
