Whaaa? Is Doctor Frankenstein a leader, dismembering his units for spare parts??

I don't think it's one of Trajan's powers wink
I'll try to find the exact moment tonight to provide a link (I think it was in episode 15 or 16)

This was the case in Civ V too, disbanding units in your own territory gave you some gold. But 600 is a lot compared to what you'd get in V.

Here it is at 10:45 deleting his cav gave him 660 gold

It is just a number. How much it really is worth depends on how much hammers do you need to build the cav and how much are 600 gold compared to your economic strength.

To highlight the disband gold; based on filthy's videos, it looks like it's ~300 for a settler... and the AI seems to keep losing its settlers to barbs.

Well yeah, it seems like unit/upgrade costs start fairly low but scale up rapidly. Gold also seems easier to get in VI than V so they're probably just taking that kind of thing into account. Hopefully at any rate, I remember for a while in V it was more profitable to build/disband scouts rather than build wealth.

Ergh. It is £50 or £70 on steam (is anyone buying the free DLC updates version) but at least only £38 for the basic version on Amazon... I don't know whether I can justify it.

Gorgo, the alternate leader for Greece, has been leaked. From the /r/civ thread:

Agenda - "With Your Shield, or On It."
Refuses Peace Treaties that are not beneficial to Greece, and likes leaders that do the same. Dislikes leaders who accept non-benificial treaties. (Likely means she wont pay you for peace, and dislikes people who do pay for peace or give up cities.)

UA - Thermopylae
Upon killing an enemy unit, gain Culture equal to 50% of its combat strength (Like Civ V Aztecs).

She's still a leader of Greece, so Greek UA (extra wildcard policy), UU, and UInfrastructure are the same as the Pericles preview from a while back.
