It is possible to buy things that might change your mind about what to buy next (ie, buying bronze working) - I presume that in an MP multi-player, choices should be hidden, so either we get advanced start working or I guess people should tell SD what they want in private and work through that process with other screen shots.

Im working on slapping the civ/leader choices into the file as we speak. But im curious if Ramk has made the Advanced start thing work without it being tick'd as a game option ( i made the map without it being on to avoid it being a huge mess.. )
It works fine. You save the map as a WBSave with player locations set, then start new scenario based on that with Advanced Start ticked. It does require the latest version of the mod, but once you have that, it all works. I've done it locally, and I posted about it a few posts up.
We may or may not be required to have a starting unit for it to work, but if so, we can just delete those. I don't really care either way.

Everything transferred just fine. EXCEPT the advanced start. I try tickin' advanced start in the scenario and if you click anything else after... it ticks off. Ticking it on, and then loading the game also doesnt work as Advanced start doesnt load... Also, looks like i need to edit the file again and change everyone to Monarch difficulty? Or is that something Ramk/pitboss does..

The difficulty is usually contained in the WorldBuilder file. For the advanced start it's best to ask Ramk to try it out. If there are still problems, we can fix them.

sent Ramk the file to hopefully get it all working.

Logged in to claim civ, however only 450 starting budget was available. I'll PM Ramk to adjust the setting to 556 in order to provide a true 500 advanced start budget.
