Sounds great. Thanks smile

Did you burn any cities in the no-man's land or did Gavagai never bother to actually fill the original void with him and Rick ?

Nope, havent burned any cities. GT did wayyyy above my top city in this screenshot, as it was a 1pop fresh city in the desert. Those 2 red dots on the map are about the only spots i could see adding in a city.

a bit behind in tech, lets see if this golden age can get me on parity with everyone other than Ginger/Civac. Im hoping in the next 20t i can have Cuirs.. for reference. Im confident i can grab guilds and probably gunpowder within these 8t. I have a couple cities that will be growing onto some nice tiles, completing castles, and some that will be swapping over to wealth. SO while i wont be able to run full steam ahead at 100%... i will get thru a couple techs before going probably about 60%-70% tech. Im not going to go binary because i dont want folks looking more into what my gpt is than they already are. I dont have any eyes over near what is soon to be the fastest conquer in this game outside of ricky, but man.. there are ALOT of eyes watching me. Including...

well, a bit hard to read a couple of them, but Mjmd is sending not only a sentry chariot, but a knight my way. Why. Is he going to try and hit my stack if i move out? Gonna be tough when i out produce him in knights in a couple turns. Nauf has a nice little scout practically stuck between my recent conquests. The scout will be bounced around a couple times from border pops if he doesnt move it soon. I am currently making sure that i can defend my new city that is coming out of revolt (to be named) but also making sure Gav's still decent 17unit mounted stack doesnt go missing from my view.

the "mjmd spear" marker also has my scout, and i plan on sending it thru the desert to make sure no Gavagai or Mjmd sneak attack is coming. Although i am still surprised that Gavagai hasnt full tilted and started whipping his cap/holy city yet. I know i would be if someone stopped fighting their war to come help hit you outta the blue.

Swapped into my state religion, and into organized religion. Need it for spreads to my future HE city, and a couple others that will be producing units over the coming turns. I wont be teching... monotheism? whatever one gives monasteries. (i dont go religion route 99% of the time) Anyway, going to be in theocracy and vassalage probably till the end of time.. but hopefully just long enough to conquer Gavagai/keep my borders safe. Let the rest of the world worry about Ginger... while i tech ffs.

Nauf had a sentry knight somewhere in that area, and im guessing its on the hill south of his city, or patrolling in the desert. im sending the chariot and a spear to check the desert... because man.. it makes for a great surprise attack. Ill probably use it myself if Nauf invades in the future. So long as i can force a struggle for my northern cities, i could/would send a regiment of knights or other units right up that path.

HIYA, long time no post. But i dont get many viewers anyway.

First, a look at the EP spending. I do say i must be pretty popular for Dreylin (for those that dont know, i dont border him.. and he is now at war with Ginger) to spend enough EP on me to need to force more into him to get GRAPHS. Gavagai of course is foregoing getting any more tech (doesnt have ironworking) to full EP slider me. Fair enough, i dont begrudge him too much on that. Just sucks for me. Mjmd of course, being puppet of Naufragar, vassal of greenline and allmighty savior of Gavagai has given me plenty of EP trying to also get vision for what has to be a stack of knights in Gavagai's territory. Ive seen at minimum 4 knights enter, and there is a whole other entrance i dont have access to for vision b4 Gavagai started dumping. Now the last one is completely my fault. My (justified) paranoia of Naufragar pouncing before im ready for him in the north has me dumping some EP into him, and such he is returning the favor.

This is my last turn of my Golden Age, so im finishing Gunpowder, and overflowing as much as possible into CS. Plan is to finish CS, and probably coast at like 10% science with the rest being EP until i have visibility on Nauf at the very least, and have dumped enough into Mjmd/gavagai that they cant fight it for awhile. I have enough teching power to probably out research in the long game, but i need to buy more time for my freshly-able-to-be-produced knights to hit the field, along with alot of my cities converting from GA commerce buildings ect into catapults and other defenses. So, without further ado.. Here is the current state of my empire!

I feel this game is going to get spicy real soon. Myself vs Mjmd/gavagai/nauf and Ginger vs ijuasjdifjasidfja/dreylin and greenline being a... wild card? If he attacks Mjmd i think there is a solid chance he makes some gains, and i can maybe advance into Gavagai territory without fearing a stab. If he goes for Dreylin i fear that just creates a stronger.. ME in the east with far better tech, with the only possible issue being zulu. But, they just recently killed off GT (may he rest in peace) and are likely healing up PLUS are on the other side of their own empire. AND cuirs/jan's are a major pain in the ass unless you are on equal footing. Should be fun*

Sorry my MOAI picture isnt as cool as others. Gavagai being a Gava-ass prevented me from getting it up and running sooner. It will be pumping out knights for the southern front. Man i hate saying southern front. Makes me sound German-esq.

Speaking of. I firmly believe that is 90% of his catapults as his power is far lower than mine, and he has a ton of HA/WC. Im torn on declaring on Mjmd quite yet. I need a solid trade route thru to ginger/zulu. I dont believe i get the routes if im at war with Mjmd AND (eventually) Naufragar right? OR does it have to be both ways? Ugh, math.

Been cutting roads, losing 30% fights where i really shouldnt, and wondering where Gav's stack of mounted units are. With the roads cut he cant 2t any city that im aware of. ESPECIALLY without engineering which he wont get to this game. I have visibility on the most likely escape route for his units to go around if they were to strike out near Nauf's border, where i saw a Gav WC roaming. TIP for any would-be conquerer or helper or scout. Having said scout being RIGHT on the border at specific weird spots tells alot about where enemy units are probably located. hammer At least, the last 4 times ive followed a scout with a HA/unit ive found a stack.

My most vulnerable spot of potential attack, cannot be obtained atm without him culture bombing the northern city (jungle forest W of the mountain) Im extremely happy i have all these hills and unhappy at the same time. Happy, because it prevents a fast mounted attack from catching me off guard. Sad because Nauf's grenadiers will have hill defense the whole time. I REALLY dont want either of these cities to fall. One is my 2nd highest production city, and the other is one of my top 3 commerce. UGH.

VERY few cities are actually staying commerce/not producing catapults ect. Everything else is swapping to war-time production levels. I also have the #1 pop by a decent margin to fall back on if someone forces the issue.

OH, u want my demos/graphs? WELL stay here for Part 2!

Still behind in raw production, which im working on fixing. Mjmd and Nauf closing borders really hurt my trade routes (i think?) and im still behind by alot in population due to using the whip, yet way ahead in food. MAN if im allowed like 20t of breathing.. bang

Its nice to see Nauf low in gnp. However, he was able to tech or bulb his way to Grenadiers so he isnt hurting for tech atm. Very curious to see where i am after the GA.

Kinda surprising to see Mjmd so high. Ill have to look what kinda setup he is running.

You can see where i was the Food leader, then fell back into the pack during the beginnings of the recent SD-Gav war. Also nice to see Nauf isnt just sitting on his tech, a couple whips i seeeeeeeeee.

If i only had one front to worry about like Ginger, id probably be able to have a similar spike just to finish someone off. BUT, i cant do that and have an economy like him because ive had to fight this entire time. Also i dont have all that nice land that he does. At least dreylin has SOME military. Hopefully he doesnt get absolutely stomped. Looking at the numbers ROUGHLY, because i dont do spreadsheets/other stuff.. it looks like if Gavagai/Mjmd went all in, if i factor in defenders advantage... i SHOULD be able to hold them off as is. Especially so in about 10t. Will they wait that long? I need to know where Mjmd's units are, and also if that is where Gavagai's are. I dont know what is worse, knights protecting a stupid amount of HA/WC or them attacking separately..

Well thats my update.

Catching up on threads. Map seems really huge based on the minimap there...
