christianity was successfully spread in gilgamesh!
can someone tell me the odds of spread for a 5th religion? I think we'll want 5 in all 3 eventually.
what about odds of a 6th religion?
we don't have islam, so 7th is irrelevant.
doesnt seem like there's much left for workers to do?? spaghetti roads it is.
I noticed our island cities only have jews. put galleys in place to carry missionaries over there. next turn im going to find a place to build a settle for the eddas. its a decent junk city with some tundra mines and two seafoods, but mostly it will be useful as an extra temple builder (and navy production, maybe).
I mostly just followed your directions. still getting familiar with the game again, since we've been peaceful since you took over and you had the CV experience I only checked on the game once a week or so. I did fire the artists in shah for now: I'm really worried we won't get a non-artist GP, and won't be able to fire our golden age. I actually think the artist in shah was bad luck for this reason. so im going to hire merchants when gilgamesh reaches size 20 and try and pop a merchant or priest (in any case shah was going to pop a GP before gilgamesh, wasting all the GPP gilgamesh had accuulated). if we get the 20-25% artist in gilgamesh ill have to do the same thing in shah. if we get anything but an artist we can go artists from here on out. the only passive GPPP in shah are artists (national epic) so I don't think we'll have to worry about accidently popping a non-artist great person after we get the one we need for a golden age.
lurkers: I'm going to start reporting again, with pictures, this weekend. I need some more time to catch up and figure out how we stand.
In the mean time, any requests?
I like our chances here. Don't get me wrong, it will probably take us another 2 months to pull this off. But we have caught up w/ serdoa in power, and we're not that far behind commodore (plako we will probably never catch. he has a crap load of cities, #2 MFG atm, and he is the only civ in nationalism. plus he has built his globe - I know this because he has a city called "globe city"
). Plus it doesnt seem like anyone is paying attention to us, which is wonderful.
