In hindsight, it might be a better decision to just switch off huts/events/lairs, especially seeing as there's a dearth of huts about the player.
Maybe I misunderstood you then. I was specifically looking at your recommendation regarding lairs etc to "take things as they come" whereas I would say to "take things as they will come in a typical case".
