Hmm ... this new, fan-dangled software makes quoting (and sub-quoting) a little more difficult. midnight to 3am GMT is 7pm to 10pm my time. My actual window is a little earlier than that ... and also should include 5am to 6am ... but I can live with that. Assuming GreenLine fits in his 2 hr window.
El Grillo Wrote:Turn order per random.org starts with greenline. Pick order is therefore:
commodore
ipecac
ruff_hi
greenline
3rd pick. I wonder what type of pic method we are using.
El Grillo Wrote:The list of available picks is:
Hannibal of America - FIN/CHM Agriculture/Fishing
Frederick of China - PHI/ORG Agriculture/Mining
Peter of Persia - EXP/PHI Agriculture/Hunting
Isabella of Celts - EXP/SPI Hunting/Mysticism
Wang Kon of Byzantine - PRO/FIN Wheel/Mysticism
Gandhi of Holy Rome - PHI/SPI Hunting/Mysticism
Kublai Khan of Egypt - AGG/CRE Agriculture/Wheel
Julius of Mali - IMP/ORG Wheel/Mining
Augustus of France - IND/IMP Agriculture/Wheel
Say what? There are limited leader / civ combos to select from? Ok - more research and thinking.

Level the playing field if you want to ... but this slows down nearly all of the National Wonders. Wait ... speed = quick. I haven't played a quick game for I don't know how long. I am going to have to revisit all of my muscle-memory micro.

Map description: Geography derived from a tropical full-of-resources Totestra with low sea levels, with a few bridges/choke points added in. Starting areas have been heavily edited to give everyone equal access to opportunities. Stone and marble are not present.
Let me know if something is missing. Also, thanks for allowing me to make the map, it was a good learning experience
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.
