Adding to the city gifting discussion, it's not like myself and Whosit just gave up out of the blue and gifted our whole empire to someone else. We both fought almost to the end, to the point that we knew we didn't stand a chance. Obviously I can't speak for Whosit, but that's how I see it. If I wanted, I could have gifted my whole empire to Athlete much earlier and he'd have time to put up garrisons etc. But instead of that, I kept playing to win, up until there was no chance for me to survive.
I think we just have different opinions on when you're out of it. I know that I would see it as a cheap move if I didn't gift those two cities to my closest ally in the game. But TBH, in the end of the day, whether you fight till the last turn or third last turn, is not really as big of a deal as people here make it seem. I wasn't Sparta, and real human lives, including all the soldier's families, were not at stake. It's just a game.

Quote:I also checked how big productions are under construction and it seems India is about to finish a Wonder that costs about ~500 hammers. UoS seems more probable than Pyramids so I guess we're still in decent position to get it.How does he check that?
