I wish I knew (is it in the thread?) the number of units India had unmoved in their stack and the number of units Mali killed.
Hypothetical 1: India has 15 units left, there are 20 redlined defenders - Mali's attack on the city is critical, without it India wouldn't have anything left to kill the stack of cannons behind the city.
Hypothetical 2: India had 30 units left, 10 redlined defenders - Mali's actions weren't vital to the outcome, though they were still against the rules. Not sure why Mali would have even been involved though...
