There is no way to peace. Peace is the way.

Rusten and Hitru turn back the clock

That's the Pyramids indeed. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes we are back in this game, but it's all for naught if Serdoa comes back for another round.
Very surprised it's not built yet, with stone Lewwyn and IND NoGas, but they both prioritized other wonders, perhaps underestimating just how hot our war with Serdoa was. Had expected failgold from this honestly, but now the long term is secured, we just need to get through the near future. Some obstacles still remain, like our map position, but at least now we have a chance to both keep the largest army and also remain competitive economically.
Serdoa had the same idea as us and declared war for another 10-turn peace treaty. Got tech visibility on him and know that he finished construction recently so a bit worried he will start the real thing when that is up. We've completed construction ourselves this end of turn though, so it will be another lose/lose war, but he seems to like those. Will whip a catapult and put it in his view asap to help him make a better decision.
Crop yield suffers a bit from running specialists and our new cities not having grown yet, but we are now the #1 economy in the game thanks to representation and it will only get better. GNP dropped to 201 (2nd) end of turn with no tech selected, but Lewwyn is in a golden age and has several wonders producing culture. ![]() Feels like we've lost our elepult window with the way the game has gone, so with the promising research development rushing towards guilds is likely the better path.
Team NoGas is making some inexplicable plays. They're IMP with the great lighthouse and yet they haven't settled this spot? WHAT?!

I think you all know what's going on, otherwise you wouldn't be asking. I've already said earlier in the thread that I'd rather not post at all than start complaining so I've kept silent. I'm looking forward to getting the hell out of this god forsaken map -- so ridiculously unbalanced that I don't know where to start. And by that I mean strategically, not in terms of tile output. And the interaction with CtH didn't help either.
There was still a glimmer of hope with some luck+pyramids, but as predicted almost 100 turns ago we're about to be sandwiched in the center, and that's only from 2 of the possible 4 directions. Still impossible to deal with mind you. (January 11th, 2021, 18:10)Rusten Wrote: ... -- so ridiculously unbalanced that I don't know where to start.
