Definitely have a look into his capital while we can. I'm thinking whether we should settle that forested plains hill forthe defensive value, even though it invalidates the wheat PH spot.

I thought the same but we would need more food to setle that spot right? At least making farms in those spots seems really slow to me
yes you would want to farm at least one, maybe two of the FP. At least we could start with one of them. Nothing for a 2nd city. I'm even thinking of settling on top of that gold, to make that city our cottage paradise. Probably not worth it in the end though?
Overall we have very many floodplains (including those icy ones), so we'll need more workers than average.
His capitol has tons of floodplains, but made out of desert not of ice
Should we keep going to the grass hill? its even more east, but it would give us more intel about his land. Maybe we should start moving north? the map is much closer than i thought. He already know more people, i didnt expect and id dint track it until now, so im not sure what he is doing, maybe he is puting 3-1 to us, or maybe he know 3 people and its 2-1-1 whatever it is, its really small. So now we have the hard dileme of what to do, should we push cities bad on worker labour? or should we make few cities with efficient worker labour? This map is the kind of map it seems clearly IMP as king, we wont make too many cities so the expenses on each shouldnt be too high. Maybe Catherine was killer in our spot.
To be fair we settled towards him, but yes it's pretty close. With Cyrus he has one of the fastest expanders in CtH, so we have to hope that we can outskill him. If we can, we might be able to pressure the border with Cre+library, and could consider HAs. Remember he's the least experienced player in the field.
He apparently settled in place. We don't know the other half of his BFC yet, so too early to judge really. He'll probably place a city W of that pig, although the spot has nothing besides the resources. If he delays it because of all the desert and tundra we could try to grab the rice ourselves and pressure into his first ring. Comm set the map to small, so that buffs Org (and it's also Emperor, right?). Even if we came out of the expansion phase at parity we'd have an advantage, while his leader has very little after the early game. So keep the morale up I do think it's time to circle back though, or else we might not find the hat come at all. Careful with animals, we don't have the hunting bonus.
Good point the animals, i didnt remember that. Although its emperor so warriors will start before we can think of gettting hunting.
I guess we are getting a warrior after worker, not another scout for that reason. So scout 1N next? or it would be better to get the forest bonnus? It seems there is another hill one north of the forest either way, so maybe beter the forest into the next hill? If i were low on morale in turn 6 we would have a problem xD Sorry to sound like that. Its just easier to see the strenghts of the enemies and harder to see yours xD If he met more people than us, then the map is really small, or at least thats what i tried to mean. I know we are closer because we settled closer
Turn 7
I ve moved to the forest and i saw Pindicator! This map is small xD I guess we want to move to the hill he is in right? I guess i should wait him to play so that he knows where i came from right?
Turn 8
Indeed they are close. Moved 1NW since i could then got to the hill if i wanted but then i saw their culture so i went towards them. I think 1W next turn is the right play. They are also IMP, im looking with better eyes the PH of the gold right now
Still enough room for another player between you.
