Pre spoilers:

You shop for items that have a price TAG.
Packages were tied up with STRING in the old days.
Shopping for a DRESS (for Easter in MARCH or SPRING?).
Shopping for a NOVEL.
You put your newly purchased items in your TRUNK.
Shopping for EYE DROPs.
Shopping for KETCHUP.

I think TAG is definite, out of the others I like DRESS and maybe NOVEL.

Post spoilers: everyone else seems to like TAG. The more I think about it, the more I like DRESS and KETCHUP, the latter being a hard word to clue on this board.

My preferred +1 is BOND, since he's always in danger.

Did Brexit happen during the SPRING? Perhaps WHIP as in members of parliament being forced to vote one way or another. Brexit led to England DROPing the EU. Brexit led to heated discussions and there were several MARCHes for and against it.

Uh, I`m not sure.
